The Border Ports Authority announced on Wednesday, at the northern port of Umm Qasr, seized (9) containers violated to the import terms and controls.
"The northern port of Umm Qasr port was able to seize 9 containers in violation of the terms and conditions of import, “the spokesperson for the authority, Alaa Al-Din Al-Qaisi, said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, "Through the examination and audit, it was found that there was a container containing (motorcycles), three containers containing (molasses), a container containing (medical supplies), and a container containing (a factory for the production of glass), and the rest of the containers contained (various materials) and all materials exceeded the legal period allowed on It remains in the port without consulting the stakeholders.”
It pointed out that " the commission formed a committee from the competent authorities with the organization of a fundamental seizure report has been organized and referred to the Al-Karmuk police station."
