The Joint Operations Command (JOC) announced on Tuesday, that a delegation headed by the Deputy Commander of Operations, Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari arrived in Tuz Khurmatu district.
“A high-ranking security delegation headed by the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, included the Commander of the Ground Forces, Lieutenant-General Qassem Al-Muhammadi, the Commander of the Rapid Intervention Division, and a number of security leaders”, JOC said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The statement added, "The visit aims to oversee the military and security units in Tuz Khurmatu operations sector, follow up the intelligence effort and pursue the remaining ISIS terrorist gangs."
