Salah al-Din Police clarifies the nature of the explosion in the governorate

    Salah al-Din Police clarified on Monday, the nature of the explosion that was heard in the governorate.
     
    "The explosion that was heard in the governorate is the detonation of controlled mines in the camps of the Hajjaj area in Salah al-Din," Salah al-Din Police Commander Major General Qandil Khalil Mohammad Al-Jubouri told the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    "These explosions are carried out in cooperation with the United Nations Organization for the Removal of Mine and Remnants of War," Al-Jubouri added.
