A delegation of government and security agencies arrived Saturday, at Arar border port to supervise the process of pilgrims departing trip to the Holy Land.
A statement by the Joint Operations Command (JOC), received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "The head of the Hajj and Umrah Commission, the deputy commander of the joint operations, the governor of Karbala, and a number of security commanders arrived at Arar border crossing to supervise the process of grouping pilgrims trip to the holy lands."
The statement added that "The convoys of transporting pilgrims arrived this morning at the Arar border crossing, after they left the city of visitors in the holy Karbala at dawn today, amid strict security measures."
