Iraqi measures and investigation against the Turkish attack on Sinjar, MOFA reports

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) condemned on Friday, in the strongest terms the Turkish attack that targeted government headquarters and homes in Sinuni district in Sinjar district, Nineveh province, while confirming that measures were taken after investigations into the attack were completed.

A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the ministry confirms that these positions represent violation of Iraq's sovereignty, and a threat to the security of civilians, a number of whom were martyred and others were injured as a result of this act."

"This attack is a targeting of the security of Iraq and the stability of its people, and requires a unified position to confront it," The statement added.
