BAGHDAD-INA
A security delegation headed by Army Chief of Staff Lieutenant-General Abdul Amir Yarallah and Deputy Commander of Joint Operations Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Al-Shammari arrived Wednesday, in Diyala Governorate.
The Joint Operations Command said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "a security delegation headed by the Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Amir Yarallah and the Deputy Commander of Joint Operations, First Lieutenant General Abdul-Amir Al-Shamri, arrived this morning in Diyala Governorate."
JOC added that "the delegation held an extensive meeting with the leaders of the Popular Mobilization in Camp Ashraf," noting that "the delegation's visit aims to supervise the military operation that was launched at dawn today in (Diyala, Salah al-Din and eastern Tigris).
