Foiling an infiltration attempt by ISIS gangs in Diyala, PMF says

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) announced on Thursday, that it had foiled an infiltration attempt by ISIS terrorist gangs in Diyala.

"The detachments of the Shield Fighting Directorate in the PMF foiled on Tuesday, an attempt to infiltrate ISIS terrorist gangs in Diyala after monitoring them and opening direct fire on them,"PMF said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

"The ISIS gang was spotted by thermal cameras in the Safra area in Diyala province, where the detachments opened fire on it and forced it to flee to an unknown destination," PMF added.
