National Security Adviser Qasim Al-Araji valued today, Tuesday, Azerbaijan's position on transferring ISIS children and families to their country, while noting that Iraq adopts a policy of dialogue and keen to strengthen its relations with friendly countries.
The media office of the National Security Adviser said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the National Security Adviser, Qasim Al-Araji, received in his office today, Tuesday, the Azerbaijani ambassador to Baghdad, Nasir Mamdov," noting that "Al-Araji, with the Azerbaijani ambassador, discussed the development of bilateral relations between the two countries." and strengthening joint cooperation, especially in the security field.
Al-Araji indicated that "Iraq adopts a policy of dialogue and openness to all, and is keen to strengthen its relations with friendly countries," and thanked the Azerbaijani ambassador on behalf of the Iraqi government "for the Azerbaijani government's transfer of ISIS children and families to their country."
