Salih stresses the establishment of regional cooperation frameworks based on the economy

The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed today, Monday, the establishment of regional cooperation frameworks based on the economy, while noting that Iraq is an essential element in the stability of the region.
 
   that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received today, Monday, at the Peace Palace in Baghdad, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Samih Shoukri and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Ayman Al-Safadi, in the presence of Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein."
 
The President of the Republic affirmed, "Iraq's keenness to strengthen relations with Egypt and Jordan in various fields, and expand it through mutual understandings and agreed frameworks of cooperation, in the political, security and economic fields, and to coordinate positions in order to establish security and stability in the region," noting that "Iraq's security, stability and location the geography between its neighbors and brothers is an indispensable component of the region's security."
 
Salih added, "There is an urgent need to ease tensions, defuse crises in the region, and rely on dialogue in resolving outstanding issues in order to pave the way towards regional cooperation frameworks based on economic and commercial cooperation to meet the common challenges of security, the economy and the climate change crisis."
