CBI Governor discusses the mechanism for paying the financial dues to Iran

The Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI), Mustafa Ghalib Mukheef, discussed on Monday, aspects of banking and economic cooperation with Iran and ways to pay financial dues.
 
"Mukheef received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Iraq, Muhammad Kadhim Al Sadiq, and congratulated him on his assumption of the position, looking forward to greater cooperation in the next stage," CBI said in a statement , received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
The statement added, " During the meeting, both sides discussed aspects of banking and economic cooperation between the two countries, the payment of the financial dues, and overcoming the obstacles facing the work of Iranian companies in the country."
 
Mukheef affirmed his keenness to develop and strengthen banking relations to serve the interests of the two countries and open new horizons of bilateral relations.
