The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, stressed today, Sunday, the need to support health personnel.
The Presidency of the Republic said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Republic, Barham Salih, received, today, Sunday, at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, Minister of Health Hani Musa Al-Eqabi."
"During the meeting, the health conditions in the country were reviewed, and the nature of the preventive measures taken to confront the Corona pandemic and other epidemics and diseases and limit its spread." The statement added.
Salih stressed, "the need to support health cadres, including doctors, nurses, and all health workers in order to provide the best services to citizens, focus on preventing epidemics spread in the world, and provide the latest supplies and necessary requirements for hospitals."
He stressed his "support for everything that would develop the health sector and meet the needs of its cadres."
For his part, the Minister of Health gave an explanation of the ministry's workflow through its health cadres and teams, and the requirements it needs in order to improve the services provided to citizens.
