SJC, legal committee discuss cooperation between legislative and judicial authorities

President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Faiq Zaidan, and members of the Legal Committee in the parliament discussed Sunday cooperation between the legislative and judicial authorities.

The Judicial Council stated, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, received the head and members of the Legal Committee in the parliament ."

The statement added, "The two sides discussed cooperation between the legislative and judicial authorities in enacting important laws."
