PM offers condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Al-Sadr

Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi offered his condolences on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Muhammad Muhammad Sadeq Al-Sadr.

Al-Kadhimi said in a tweet to him on "Twitter", which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Our condolences to the honorable Iraqi people, on the anniversary of the martyrdom of the Grand Ayatollah, the martyred master Muhammad Muhammad Sadiq al-Sadr.".

He added: "His courageous stance had a profound impact in establishing the principles of justice and rejecting dictatorship," stressing that "from these solid stances, nations derive their strength and the consolidation of their identity in the face of injustice and tyranny."
