Counter-Terrorism Service (CTS) foiled on Thursday, an operation to target the security forces in Kirkuk province, while its forces managed to kill 3 ISIS members.
"Under the direction of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, CTS The Counter-Terrorism Service was able to thwart a security operation, killing 3 terrorist operatives in the early hours of Thursday, through setting an ambush to the remnants of Kirkuk terrorist gangs. ", CTS said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
"This came after the clash with these terrorists, as one of them was wearing an explosive belt, and the security forces managed to kill him, while the other two were chased and killed in the Al- Rashad area, “ the statement added.
