Popular Mobilization Forces announced Thursday the arrest of two Daesh terrorist in Kirkuk Governorate.
A statement by the PMF, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "during a security operation carried out by a force from the Kirkuk and East Tigris Operations Command, according to information from the General Military Intelligence Directorate / Kirkuk Intelligence Department of PMF, and after obtaining judicial approvals, two terrorists were arrested in Kirkuk.
The statement added that "the ISIS detachment was intending to carry out terrorist acts against the security forces and civilians in the city of Kirkuk."
According to the statement, the Intelligence and Information Associate in the PMF called on "citizens to cooperate by providing information about the suspects through the hot number 481 in order to enhance security and eliminate terrorist and crime cells."
