Al-Ghazi to the Chinese ambassador: The government supports the efforts of the friendly countries

Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, confirmed on Sunday, that the government continuous support the effort of the friendly countries.

A statement by the Office of the Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated, that "The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Hamid Naim Al-Ghazi, received on Sunday, in his office, the new Chinese ambassador to Iraq, Cui Wei, to discuss mechanisms for developing areas of joint work between the governments of Iraq and China." 

"During the meeting, they discussed mechanisms for activating the joint files, which are concerned with the framework agreement between Iraq and China, which entered into force at the end of last year through the project to establish model schools and the project to develop Nasiriyah International Airport, in addition to the Ministry of Planning's initiation to include strategic projects, In the areas of (energy, health, roads, bridges, and residential complexes),"The statement added.

For his part, the Chinese ambassador referred to "The depth of bilateral relations between the two countries and the government's endeavor to expand cooperation in the fields concerned with improving the economic sector in Iraq," stressing "the Chinese embassy in Baghdad will continue to coordinate and cooperate between government to accomplish Joint files that contribute to strengthening cooperation between the two countries."
