Ministry of Health announced Wednesday that its staffs have been mobilized to confront hemorrhagic fever.

The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said, "The Deputy Minister of Health, Hani Al-uqabi, arrived in the holy governorate of Karbala and met its governor, Nassif Al-Khattabi, to inaugurate some health projects in the governorate."

Al-Uqabi told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), during a tour in the Turkish hospital in the province, that "the ministry fully supports the Karbala Health Department by providing all medical supplies to health institutions in the province."

Al-Uqabi confirmed that "the medical staff in Iraqi hospitals controlled thousands of cases of suffocation as a result of the recent dust storms," noting that "the medical staff is mobilized to confront the hemorrhagic fever disease by spreading dozens of veterinary detachments and treating this disease."
He pointed out that "despite the low budget of the Ministry of Health, which meets only 30 percent of its actual needs, maneuvering from one place to another continues to provide the best services to citizens."

He added, "The Imam Hassan Hospital, formerly the (Turkish) is one of the most modern hospitals in Iraq, and its specifications are comparable to international hospitals."
