The United Nations Security Council will meet next Thursday to discuss the situation in Ukraine, and the United States will chair the planned session, within the framework of its assumption of the presidency of the Council this month.
Earlier, British Ambassador to the United Nations Barbara Woodward said that this week the UN Security Council will discuss the recent visit of the UN Secretary-General to Moscow and Kiev, as well as the missile attack on the Artyom plant, when the Secretary-General was in the Ukrainian capital.
