Heading a parliamentary delegation, Al-Halbousi arrives in Iran

Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi arrived Wednesday with a parliamentary delegation to Tehran, the capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
 
A statement by the Presidency of the parliament, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said, Wednesday, that "the visit came in response to an official invitation from the Speaker of the Iranian Islamic Consultative Assembly, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf.

The statement added, "The visit schedule also includes a meeting with the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi, and a number of officials.
