Al-Sistani's office issues a statement regarding "Seh Dokan Mosque" bombing

 The office of the Supreme Religious Reference, Sayyed Ali al-Husseini al-Sistani, issued a statement regarding the bombing of the "Seh Dokan" mosque in Afghanistan.

The office said, in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), "Once again, the terrorist organization ISIS committed a horrific crime, targeting innocent worshipers in (Seh Dokan Mosque) in Mazar-i Sharif and shedding the blood of many of them. As we extend our condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyrs of this crime, we ask May God Almighty grant them patience and solace and grant speedy recovery to the wounded and injured.”.

The statement added, "Given the current situation in our beloved Afghanistan, we assure all faithful brothers and sisters to be more careful than before and to cooperate with those responsible for maintaining the security of people's meetings in order to prevent the recurrence of these painful tragedies."
