MOHESR announces the readiness of Iraqi universities to offer a number of scholarships to Arab and foreign students

Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MOHESR) announced on Wednesday, that the Iraqi universities are ready to offer a number of scholarships to Arab and foreign students.
 
"MOHESR has renewed its commitment to scientific, professional standards and determinants in dealing with the file of universities abroad, adoption of academic and legal contexts in the equivalency of certificates," a statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated.
 
During his meeting with the President of the Islamic University in Lebanon and Vice-President of the Executive Council of the Association of Arab Universities, Hassan a-Laqis, and his accompanying delegation, in presence of the Director-General the Department of Scholarships and Relations, Abdel-Saheb affirmed that "the course of universities in the world is moving towards reviewing the indicators produced by pandemic conditions and raising the level of standard accuracy in responding to requirements of handling of inputs."
 
He added, "MOHESR and its competent departments are open to universities in the Arab and regional regions in accordance with established scientific and academic standards that represent a common basis for cooperation in the fields of academic work," noting at the same time the willingness of Iraqi universities to offer a number of scholarships to Arab students and foreigners."
 
The President of the University expressed his happiness with this meeting, which included an integrated road map to determine required procedures in environment of cooperation between the two sides.
