Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Darjal discussed ways to develop relations with Belgium in the field of sports and youth, this came when he received the Belgian Ambassador (Filip Vanden Bulcke) today, Wednesday, at the Ministry's headquarters.
A statement by the ministry, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), said that "the two parties discussed ways to raise the level of interest in youth and sports, activate cooperation protocols between the two countries and exchange experiences in the youth and sports sides."
He continued, "Minister Darjal, through the ambassador, invited the Belgian national team to visit Iraq. He also praised the distinguished level of Belgian football and the possibility of benefiting from the Belgian experience by attracting Belgian coaches and experts to train local staff and contribute to raising the level of sports in Iraq."
