Ministry of Migration and Displacement counted Saturday the families returning from the Syrian Al-Hol camp, which were rehabilitated and transferred to their areas of residence in Iraq.
The Director of the Branches Department at the Ministry of Migration, Ali Abbas, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The Al-Jada'a Center for Psychological and Community Rehabilitation, has allocated rehabilitation programs for returnees from Al-Hol camp and then integrate them into society through a series of measures taken by the ministry and partner organizations."
Abbas added that "450 families were transferred, 170 of them were rehabilitated and moved to their areas of residence, including Anbar Governorate, about 120 families were returned ," noting that "in the next few days, the rest will be returned after the programs that targeted these families end in the field of integration and psychological rehabilitation.
He pointed out that "there are challenges that we are working to remove in coordination with partners and security services, especially the National Security Service the National Security Advisory, the clans and the local authority."
