The judiciary resolves the cases of more than 1,500 people who came from Al-Hol camp

    Security expert Fadel Abu Ragheef confirmed Tuesday, that the Iraqi judiciary has resolved the cases of more than 1,500 people who came from Al-Hol camp, while noting that the United Nations supports the project to close the camp.
     
    Abu Ragheef told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "The National Security Advisory succeeded in receiving more than 450 families, an average of nearly more than 1,700 people from al-Hol camp," explaining that "the Iraqi judiciary has resolved the cases of more than 1,550 people."
     
    He added that "The United Nations supports the project to close al-Hol camp, and that al-Jada'a camp is currently ready to receive the returnees," noting that " al-Hol camp is full of Iraqis, and solutions and subsequent steps must be taken to embrace them and restore the contact of children and women with society, since their fathers or husbands were killed or arrested outside Iraq.”
     
    Abu Ragheef stressed "The need for civil society organizations, Media and clerics to work on this issue with international, local and regional support."
