The official spokesman for the Ministry of Planning - MOP, Abdul Zahra Al-Hindawi, confirmed on Saturday, that the population census form determined the economic and social characteristics of each Iraqi individual.

"The population census is the first in terms of comprehensiveness. It will include all parts of Iraq without exception for any region. The census is done electronically and sheds light on the Iraqi scene in a very accurate way," said Al-Hindawi to the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

Al-Hindawi added that "the data received through the population census form will diagnose the problems existing in each family, whether related to health, housing, education, or services," explaining that “the census teams started their work on November 14th and then completed it on the 20th and 21st, through a plan that was set with the aim of getting to know the family on the first visit and then visiting the family to fill out the census form."

"The enumerators and researchers will continue their work until December 10th, which is the date of the end of the population census, to verify the information and make changes that occurred to the family during the census period,” he noted.
