Dalia El Behery: I hope to play the roles of the Pharaohs, learn the Iraqi accent

    The Egyptian artist Dalia Al-Behairy, confirmed that she will not compromise in art, while expressing her wish to play historical roles, especially the roles of the Pharaohs, as well as her wish to learn the Iraqi accent.
     
    Her beginnings
     
    The artist, Dalia Al-Behairi, said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "At first, I did not plan to enter the field of art at all, as I had a passion and curiosity in other fields," stressing "My entry into art happened by chance, I did not expect that I would engage in this field.”
     
    She added: "I was working in the media field, presenting programs on the Egyptian satellite channel, and also I had a passion in the field of (modeling), through my media work, I met the late Egyptian writer Raafat Al-Mihi, who led me to the field of art, as I worked with him in my first films (because our God Loves You) in 2001. This work was my first artistic experiment, after which various works followed.”


     
    Most prominent roles
     
    Al-Buhairi said: "I worked in many different roles, such as I was not limited to one (character) at all, but my features and the charisma of my personality may suggest to others the appearance and performance of a sophisticated woman, and I played such roles."
     
    She pointed out that "There are many roles that attract me, but I hope to act the historical (Pharaonic) Egyptian roles because it impresses me."
     
    Al-Buhairi said: "When I heard the name of Iraq, many things came to my mind, including heritage, steadfastness, defiance, and the valiant Iraqi Arab Army, All of these merits pass through my imagination," stressing that "Iraq is a country rich in its culture, diversity and ancient civilization, and I hope to learn the Iraqi accent because I love it so much and it is dear to my heart."
     


     
    Red lines
     
    Regarding her red lines, she explained: "My beliefs, convictions, and belief in some aspects of the artwork can never be changed, meaning I will not give up in art. If I had to give up, I would prefer to sit at home and work in a profession other than art."
     
    Miss Egypt 1990
     
     Regarding the title of Miss Egypt in 1990, Al-Buhairi stated: "I am proud of that title that I represent through it Egypt before the world.
