The head of the Media and Communications Commission (CMC), Ali Al-Moayad, affirmed Iraq's keenness to abide by the decisions of the media committees of the Arab League.
Al-Moayad said in a speech during the meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers in Baghdad, which was followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "Iraq is keen to fully comply with all decisions of the outputs of the media committees of the Arab League," noting that "the Iraqi media witnessed many developments in style, content and productivity, and aspires to cooperate so that we can witness progress at the regional and international levels."
He added that "Iraq believes in solidarity of efforts to serve our homelands and unite discourse and mobilization to achieve the lofty goals", stating that "We recognize the challenges and difficulties facing us all, but we also recognize the strength of our peoples."
Al-Moayad pointed out that "Iraq witnessed openness and interaction with Arab issues," noting that "this is a message to all Arabs that Iraq is recovering and it is influential."
