First flower festival launches in Kirkuk

    BAGHDAD-INA

    The activities of the first Kirkuk flower festival, which was organized by the Directorate of General Municipalities in the province, in cooperation with the Ministry of Construction, were launched.
     
    The director of Kirkuk municipalities, Ari Seif al-Din, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The festival is a great opportunity to urge the citizen to pay attention to the agricultural aspect, and an invitation to eliminate desertification and benefit from the expertise that attended the festival."
     
    He added, "The idea of holding the festival coincided with the great reconstruction revolution witnessed by the province of Kirkuk in terms of projects and services to enhance the efforts made to encourage agriculture and inform officials about the types of flowers that add aesthetics to the streets of the province."
     
    He continued, "The technical assistant of the Governor of Kirkuk Ali Hammadi inaugurated the activities of the exhibition, which was held in the Gardens of the Golden Times in a spring atmosphere, which represents a step towards attracting Kirkuk to events that document its aesthetic, national status, security stability, coexistence of its components, preserving the integrity and aesthetics of Kirkuk's environment, and the administration's plans to advance its service and aesthetic reality."
