Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has developed a plan for players whose contracts are about to expire.
Among these players, the trio, Algerian Riyad Mahrez, German Ilkay Gundogan and Spaniard Rodri.
According to the British newspaper, “Daily Star”, Manchester City will offer Rodri, Riyad Mahrez and Ilkay Gundogan new contracts to keep them at the “Al Ittihad” stadium.
The trio played a big role in the successes of City in recent seasons, especially Gundogan and Mahrez, and Pep Guardiola is keen to ensure the extension of their stay at the club.
Riyad Mahrez and Gundogan have contracts that expire at the end of next season, but they are also expected to extend their stay at the Heavenly Club.
This news comes after press reports were received about the interest of Juventus, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain clubs in Mahrez's services next summer.
It is noteworthy that Mahrez is Manchester City's top scorer in all competitions this season, with 22 goals.
