The Iranian authorities announced, today, Thursday the rescue of 29 passengers on board the sinking Emirati ship in the southern port of Iran.
Iranian rescue teams said: "29 of the 30 passengers, who were on board the sunken Emirati ship, were rescued 30 miles from the shores of a military port in southern Iran."
An Iranian official confirmed that 16 crew members of the Emirati ship were among those rescued.
