The founder and head of the constitutional monarchy movement in Iraq, Sharif Ali bin Al Hussein, passed away on Monday, in the Jordanian capital, Amman, at the age of 66.
Bin Al Hussein was born in Baghdad in 1956, and grew up between Lebanon and UK, as he is the youngest of Princess Badiya’s children.
He received his high school diploma from Broumana Secondary School in Lebanon and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Nottingham and MA degree in Economics from the University of Essex, UK.
He was awarded a Royal Medal by Kigali, the former King of Rwanda, for his goal of creating a way out of the political crisis in Iraq and ending the tragic plight of the people living under terror and tyranny.
