Hussein arrives in Cairo

Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein arrived in Cairo Wednesday for the 157th regular session of the Arab League council.
 
"Hussein arrived in Cairo to attend the 157th regular session of the Council of the Arab League at the ministerial level," the ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
"The foreign ministers will discuss several issues, most notably the preparation for the upcoming Arab summit in Algeria, the Palestinian issue, the Arab-Israeli conflict and regional and international developments," the statement said.
 
"It is hoped that the foreign minister will hold several meetings with his Arab counterparts in the framework of strengthening bilateral relations, activating common interests and confronting common risks," he said.
