The correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said that the UN Security Council held a special session this evening to discuss the situation in Iraq.
He added that the session, during which the United Nations envoy to Iraq, Jenin Plasschaert, will brief the Security Council at the United Nations headquarters in New York about the situation in Iraq and the work of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq.
