Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital in Karbala denied on Monday, the news around taking the supreme religious authority, Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani to the hospital, stressing that His Eminence is in perfect health.
The hospital said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that, “Social media trended news of taking His Eminence, the Supreme Religious Authority, the Great Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Al-Husseini Al-Sistani to Al-Kafeel Specialized Hospital, Karbala. Here, we point out that these news are completely false, and that His Eminence the Supreme Marja’ is in a perfect health and is performing his daily duties in his office normally,”
"We call on the media and bloggers on social media to quit such rumors that would confuse the general atmosphere in the country and not to publish or believe such pointless propaganda," included the statement.
