Sayyed Al-Hakim: Targeting civil facilities and the foreign missions is unacceptable violation

    The head of The National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, confirmed today, Saturday, that targeting the civil facilities and foreign missions is unacceptable violation.
     
    During the commemoration ceremony on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Muhammad Baqir Al-Hakim, which was attended by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “We call that the support for any candidate in the next government should be subject to the government program and the full eligibility for the executive tasks granted by the position to that candidate."
     
    Al-Hakim pointed out that , "Iraq's need for a President of the Republic who is able to take constitutional decisions, steps away from partisan pressures, bears his full responsibility in managing the cabinet, implementing its approved government program and achieving success away from political pressures and biases."
     
    He explained that "Rationality and broad vision give governments the ability to absorb all national energies and competencies, in the service of the state, and at the same time give the opposition the ability to express opinion and constructive criticism to address problems away from personalization and emotion."
     
    He also pointed to the "Importance of restoring people's confidence in their own state," noting that "the Iraqi people are tired of partisan differences and disputes, and they are waiting for actions not words, change not rotation, fulfillment of aspirations not suspension, stability and service and construction not allegations, excuses and justifications.”
     
     
    He stressed, "The role of the next government in assuming responsibility to run the state, just as the opposition bears full responsibility to oversee, follow-up and constructive criticism of the governmental work and its institutions, away from conflict and personalization."
     
     
    Al-Hakim also urged the new government to listen to all segments of society and to give them the opportunity to participate in writing the government program, so that it is a comprehensive program acceptable to all, and responsive to the aspirations of our people, their concerns and priorities."
     
    "Decisions and measures at the state and government level must be fair and fruitful, and the equitable distribution of wealth, opportunities and capabilities should be the slogan of the next stage," noting that "confronting the economic crisis is our first priority in the next stage, as this requires a government with defined and specific economic program," Al-Hakim affirmed.
