MOCH approves plans to design two residential cities as part of “Dari” initiative

    The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities (MOCH) announced Today, Thursday, approving of plans to design two residential cities as part of the Dari housing initiative.
     
    MOCH said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Minister of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Naznin Mohammed Wasu, has approved the detailed design plans for the new residential cities of Balad and Al-Majar in the governorates of Salah al-Din and Maysan, as part of Dari initiative to solve the housing crisis in all the governorates".
     
    The statement added that "The area of the new residential city of Balad is 2,226 dunums, and it will provide 5956 horizontal housing units for about 35,736 people, while the designed area of the new residential city of Al-Majar is 2,143 dunums, and it will provide 8,545 horizontal housing units for about 51270 people, in addition to other services at the level of the locality, neighborhood, sector and city center.”
