The Ministry of Health announced Sunday reporting new infections with Omicron in Iraq.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Saif Al-Badr, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the epidemiological situation is getting more and more dangerous due to the lack of adherence to health procedures and vaccination, with the rapid spread of the Omicron in most countries of the world."
He added, "The laboratories of the Ministry of Health recorded new infections with Omicron , as no less than 30% of the infections recorded in the country," warning of the seriousness of the epidemiological situation due to the failure to adhere to health procedures.
