West Nineveh Operations Command confirmed friday that terrorists escaping from Syrian prisons have no ability to cross our borders.
The Commander of West Nineveh Operations, Major General Jabbar al-Tai, told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "The borders with Syria are fully secured through the readiness of the security forces to prevent the infiltration of terrorists from Syria, stressing that" there is complete readiness to repel any infiltration case, especially in the great cooperation of civilians."
He added that "the administrative borders extending for about 266 kilometers for Nineveh Governorate are fully secured today, and the borders did not witness a stable situation as the current situation.
"There is high cooperation and coordination by army aviation, air force and artillery of all kinds through the exchange of radio communications networks that work together," he said.
