Cold wave shuts down colleges, institutes and schools in Erbil

    Erbil Governorate decided on Wednesday, to suspend official working hours tomorrow in colleges, institutes and schools.
     
    "The decision came as a result of the continuation of the current cold wave," said the governorate in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
     
    The statement included that, "The decision was taken based on weather forecasts and the continued low temperatures, and after a discussion between the Governor of Erbil and the Ministers of Education and Higher Education in the region as well as, the Chief of the Cabinet Office in Kurdistan,"
