Minister of Health confirms implementation the recommendations of Supreme Committee

Minister of Health and Environment Hani Al-Eqabi affirmed the implementation of the recommendations of the Supreme Committee for Health and Safety.  

The ministry said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the Minister of Health, Hani Al-Eqabi, chaired the meeting of the Diwani Order Committee 217, in the presence of its members and medical officials in the Ministries of Defense and Interior and the Medical Directorate of the Popular Mobilization Authority at the ministry's headquarters." 

 "During the meeting, a number of topics were discussed, including the presentation of the epidemiological situation and rates of vaccination with Covid-19 vaccines, according to health departments and private vaccination outlets of the security forces, and the emergency support plan for Covid-19 vaccines was followed up." 

According to the statement, Al-Eqabi stressed the implementation of the recommendations of the Supreme Committee for National Health and Safety, as well as following up on preventive measures in public places, and emphasizing the awareness aspect to urge citizens on the importance of taking vaccines against Corona virus.
