"Several axes were voted on regarding the import of gold, where they agreed to make a recommendation to reduce import and export duties in relation to gold, adopt Basra International Airport to enter and exit gold like Baghdad and Najaf airports”, he said.
"The Baghdad Chamber of Commerce held a seminar that discussed the issue of importing gold with traders and importers and coming up with recommendations, which will be submitted to the Ministerial Council of Economy, and then presented to the cabinet meetings, in order to make an amendment to the decision of the cabinet, to promote the work of importers," he said.
"The BPC at Baghdad and Najaf airport have recently witnessed a significant reluctance to enter gold, and measures will be taken to support this trade, which will have a high return to the state," he said.
