The Minister of Youth and Sports, President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal and the Secretary-General of the Association, Mohammad Farhan, attended at the invitation of the Asian Confederation, the General Secretaries’ Conference for 2022, that begun today, Thursday in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, and will continue until next Saturday .
The Iraqi Football Association said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "The conference aims to create an educational environment that develops the new generation of football leaders in Asia, as well as managing team value, encouraging broader longer-term objectives and creating the culture for advancement of member nations, particularly on a performance level on the global stage”.
The statement added, "The conference presented a number of studies and research by a number of figures such as Dato' Windsor John, Secretary General of the Asian Football Confederation, The AFC Deputy General Secretary – Member Associations, Vahid Kardany.”
It’s worth mentioning that Iraq's participation in this conference comes to continuously communicate with the AFC and to get acquainted on the latest developments in the world of football.
