MOFA: Iraq being out of High-Risk Countries is economically positive

Spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs - MOFA, Ahmed Al-Sahaf confirmed on Monday, that Iraq's being out of the list of High-Risk Countries will reflect positively on the economy.
 
“Active diplomacy has concluded to remove the name of Iraq from the list of High-Risk Countries in the areas of money laundering and terrorist financing, which reflects the confidence of the international community in the Iraqi government's actions," said Al-Sahaf in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
 
He added, "The tireless efforts by MOFA and the concerned national authorities, and through the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq in Brussels, have led to results that will be positively reflected on the Iraqi economy,"
