Pique publishes his salary details with Barcelona 

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique published, today, Saturday, the details of the salary he receives from the Catalan club. 

Pique posted, through his account on the social networking site "Twitter", a picture stating that he had received 2,328,884.39 euros (two million and 646 thousand and 59.26 dollars) on December 30, which represents the second half of his salary. 

Journalist Louis Canute had stated on TV3 that Pique, Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba and Samuel Umtiti were getting more money, without citing a source. 

While Barcelona rejected the statements, describing them as "wrong and not realistic," adding that some of the players named are linked to variable contracts and cannot reach the numbers mentioned by Canute. 

It is noteworthy that Barcelona suffers from debts of more than 1.3 billion euros, and has lost the efforts of Argentine star Lionel Messi, who moved to Paris St.
