Joint security force kills a terrorist and dismantles an explosive belt north of Baghdad, SMC reports

The Security Media Cell (SMC) announced today, Saturday, the killing of a suicide terrorist and dismantling the explosive belt he was wearing, during a raid on a hideout north of Baghdad.

SMC said in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "According to accurate intelligence information by Baghdad Operations Intelligence and Security Department, a joint force of the 59th Brigade, the Sixth Infantry Division and commando regiments of Baghdad Operations Command carried out a raid on one of the hideouts of ISIS terrorist gangs."

SMC also noted that "The security operation is still ongoing.”
