Baghdad Operations Commander Congratulates the 101st Anniversary of the Iraqi Army founding

Baghdad Operations Commander Lieutenant-General Ahmed Salim congratulated the armed forces on the 101st anniversary of the Iraqi army founding.

Lieutenant-General Salim said in a congratulatory telegram received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "on the occasion of the 101st anniversary of the founding of the People's Army... our valiant Iraqi army, I extend my warmest congratulations and best wishes to the sons of our heroic armed forces, asking the Almighty to save our brave army and bless them with victory and pride, and save our beloved Iraq."

He added: "Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs, and a speedy recovery to our heroic wounded, may Allah answers our prayers."
