The head of the joint committee on vaccinations and immunizations in the British Ministry of Health, and director of the Oxford University Vaccine Group, Andrew Pollard, confirmed that the worst phase of the Covid-19 pandemic has become a thing of the past.
He added, "The worst period of the Corona epidemic is over, and in the future, it will be necessary to deal with the consequences of infection with Corona not by imposing quarantine or continuous re-vaccination, but by caring for the most vulnerable groups of the population."
He said: "The worst is definitely behind us. We need to get through the winter," noting that "at a certain stage, society must open up, and with the end of the general quarantine, we will see increase in injuries, and for this reason, winter may not be the best time to lift all restrictions."
