The Directorate of Agriculture of Dhi Qar announced Thursday that 12,000 dunums will be allocated for investment aimed at promoting the agricultural sector and employing agricultural engineers and veterinarians.
"The directorate is working to encourage investment and has allocated arable areas through its investment for the purpose of promoting the agricultural sector as investment opportunities aimed at increasing production and employing agricultural engineers and veterinarians across the province," Saleh Hadi al-Salem, director of agriculture for the province, told The Iraqi News Agency( INA).
"The directorate has allocated 12,000 dunums to be distributed to different areas depending on the nature of the proposed projects," he said.
