Security forces start on plans to secure celebrations of Jesus Christ birth

INA - BAGHDAD

The security forces started on the plans to secure the celebrations of the birth of Jesus (peace be upon him) and the New Year's Day.

"At a time when our heroic security forces of all kinds have made great achievements in combating terrorism and crime in its various forms, they began at the same time and with the start of the celebrations of the birth of Christ, peace be upon him, along with the advent of the New Year, by activating its plan to secure the appropriate atmosphere for celebrants in separate areas of the country, via security deployment and intensification of services for all vital and important facilities, places of worship and public places,” according to a statement by Security Media Cell - SMC, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

The statement included, "The plans included intensifying the security presence, defining security bases and observation points, conducting patrols to secure roads and streets, and imposing a security cordon around churches,"

For their part, the citizens valued the great efforts made and are still being made by our heroic security forces to maintain security and stability as well as, providing services.
