Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi confirmed, today, Friday, that there is no choice but dialogue, while warning against turning it into blackmail.

Al-Kadhimi said in a speech while attending the glorious Christmas mass, followed by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "we must think about life and how to continue with hope," stressing that "Christmas have become a symbol, and that Iraq's Christians have a great role and must be encouraged to stay."

Prime minister added, "We have no choice but dialogue, and that it is the solution to build the future for the Iraqis," noting that "the Pope's visit was proof of the importance of Iraq."

He also pointed out that "there are those who tried to turn diversity into weakness," explaining: "We have gone through difficult circumstances for 17 years.".

In addition to that, Al-Kadhimi continued, "We have no choice but to create hope," warning against turning dialogue into blackmail.
